In the small hall of the Samarkand State Architalctural and Civil-Engineering Institute, Laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation, Honored Builder of the Russian Federation, Head of the Chair of “Technological Organization of Construction” of Moscow State Construction University, expert in design, technology and construction, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Scientific Research Institute, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Lapidus Azariy Abramovichheld a seminar-training lesson on the theme"Participants in the construction industry in modern conditions"for teachers and for the students of bachelors’ degree and masters’ degree of the Institute.

On April 17-18, 2019 a republican scientific-practical conference “MODERNIZATION, INNOVATIVE PROSPECTS OF DEVELOPMENT OF ARCHITECTURE, URBAN DEVELOPMENT AND DESIGN IN THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN” was held at the Samarkand State Institute of Architecture and Construction, on the basis of Order of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 133-F dated February 25, 2019 and the order of the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 4, 2019.

Scientific-practical Seminar on "The work carried out within the framework of the international "DSinGIS" project" was held in the assembly hall of Samarkand State Architecture and Civil Engineering Institute named after Mirzo Ulugbek on April 9, 2019.More than 60 participants including about 20 representatives from government enterprises such as Department of Land Resources and State Cadastre of Samarkand region, State enterprise of land management and real estate cadastre of Samarkand region, Samarkand department of State Research and Design Institute for Land Management "O’ZDAVYERLOYIHA",  "Smarqand Aerogeodeziya" State Unitary Enterprise and about 40 from higher education as students, Master students, young researchers and teaching staff of Samarkand State Architecture and Civil Engineering Institute took part in the seminar.

By  the invitation of the Rector of Taraz State Pedagogical University of the Republic of Kazakhstan, docent of the Chairt of "Fine Arts" of the Samarkand State Architectural and Civil-Engineering Institute Juraev Hamza Hamrokulovich went to Kazakhstan to conduct master classes, seminars and lectures for professors, for Master Degree students and students of this Institute.

On the 19th of March, 2019 at the Chair of "Uzbek and foreign languages" a practical open lesson was held by the English teacher M.A. Fozilova on the theme "Internet and Modern Life" with the 307 group students of  the “Building” Faculty.

In the spring semester of the current academic year, Sheffield II Gerald Euhon, a specialist from the Magnet Arts School Specialized Education Centre in the United States, based on the Fulbright Program has visited the Samarkand State Architectural and Civil-Engineering Institute.

The seminar- training on the theme "Modern World Architecture" was held on May 18, at the Samarkand state architectural and civil-engineering institute. The famous Danish architect, the founder of the Gehl Architects company Jan Gale, as well as teachers and students of  Samarkand state architectural and civil-engineering institute have participated in the event.
