8.1. In accordance with Article 33 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Education", the Institute participates in international cooperation in educational issues, establishing direct contacts with relevant educational institutions in foreign countries, with the right to establish joint educational institutions.
Preparation, retraining and advanced training of foreigners, agreements between the scientific and pedagogical staff of the educational institution on interdepartmental educational and research activities outside the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the education management of foreign countries, as well as on the basis of the Institute's direct contracts with foreign citizens and foreign legal entities in accordance with the law.
8.2. The Institute has the following rights:
- access to international nongovernmental organizations;
- conclude agreements on cooperation with foreign partners, which can not be considered as international agreements of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
- organization of higher education institutions with the participation of foreign partners in the order established by the legislation of the structural subdivisions of the Institute (centers, laboratories, technical parks and other units).
8.3. In accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Institute reserves the right to engage in foreign economic activity, envisaged by the present Charter, in accordance with the Law "On Education" and the National Training Program, as well as the development of international relations .
8.4. The foreign currency earnings from the foreign economic activity of the Institute are used to ensure that its material gains are legally established by its statutory objectives.
