Founded in 1966 in connection with the opening of the Samarkand State Institute of Architecture and Construction, the unit was originally called "Graphics, Painting and Sculpture." In particular, 1966-67 S.M. Mukhamedov taught the secrets of art to students. He was a prominent public figure, a member of the Art Association of Uzbekistan. He is a sculptor who took an active part in foreign and national art exhibitions and was the author of the most prominent sculptures in the country.
Associate Professor V. Vanyakin worked at the department in 1967-71 and taught students the secrets of painting and sculpture. He is a member of the Art Association of Uzbekistan. He actively participated in foreign and national art exhibitions. Graphic artist, famous for his graphic works in Samarkand.
A number of scientists and artists were transferred from Leningrad to Samarkand during the war years, as well as unique specialties (that is, evacuated) by the state. S.V. Redkin is one of these, a graphic artist, an associate professor, known for his creative work in Samarkand .. GS Salakhov is a member of the Association of Architects of Uzbekistan, a master of watercolor art, the head of the Samarkand branch of the Union of Architects of Uzbekistan, a participant in the Second World War, a famous architect of Uzbekistan, an associate professor. For many years, he taught students unique secrets of watercolor painting.
Professor N.T. Sultanov, member of the Creative Union of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, Honored Artist of Uzbekistan, an active participant in foreign and national art exhibitions, winner of the gold medal of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, professor. N.S. Sultanov was born on November 24, 1938 in the village of Campiruldi of the Payarik district of the Samarkand region. From 1957 to 1963 he studied at the Republican Art School named. P. Benkov in Tashkent, and in 1963-68 he studied at the Tashkent Theater and Art Institute. Since 1968, he worked in the department of visual arts as a teacher, assistant professor, and since 1990 - professor.
Member of the Association of Architects of Uzbekistan, author of "Fine Arts" and works of various themes in graphic design, author of new discoveries and inventions, assistant professor F. Yuldashev was born on April 22, 1951. He was born in the village of Charkhin in the Pastdargom district. In 1967-72 he studied at the Faculty of Architecture of the Samarkand State Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering and began his career in the department "Graphics, Painting and Sculpture". In 1982, he became an assistant professor. Over the years, along with the head of the department, his work has won the attention of fans and his work left its appearance to foreign and local guests who came to our institute.
Member of the Creative Union of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, painter in the field of applied art, author of excellent applied works, associate professor, X.M. Makhammatov was born on April 26, 1951 in the Koshrabat district of the Samarkand region. In 1974-79 he studied at the Tashkent Theater and Art Institute, and since 1980 he worked as an assistant, senior lecturer at the Department of "Graphics, Painting and Sculpture" of the Samarkand State Institute of Architecture and Construction.
A member of the Creative Union of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, a member of the Samarkand branch of the Creative Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, known with national sculpture in Samarkand and many other cities, T. Esanov has been teaching at the department since 1982, along with items of graphics, painting and sculpture and regularly participates in numerous creative competitions. He is the owner of the order "Dustlik".
Member of the Creative Union of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, Honored Artist of Uzbekistan, head of the Samarkand regional branch of the Creative Union of the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan N.Zh. Kalonov From 1976 to 1982 he worked as a head of the department.
Member of the Association of Architects of Uzbekistan, author of creative, practical works, Associate Professor A.T. Bekmuhammedov worked at the department from 1973 to 2000.
A member of the Creative Association of Art of Uzbekistan, a laureate of international contests, a senior teacher of the Department of “Fine Arts” T.Kh. Yorkulov was born on December 31, 1957 in the village of Jom, Samarkand region. Since 1981, he has taught sculpture lessons to students.
The main activity of the department is familiarization with the secrets of the fine arts in the preparation of specialists in the areas of architecture, APOST, design and vocational training. The department has four drawing rooms, sculptors' workshops and artistic ceramics workshops, designed to provide students with meaningful and high-quality training.
The department hosts lectures on the history of art, painting, sculpture and practical classes. Every year in the hall of the department, in the republic and in the regional exhibition halls are organized several exhibitions of the work of professors, teachers and gifted students. Professors and teachers of the department teach students to learn the secrets of art and work in public educational institutions. They attend similar institutions and attend Master Class lessons.
