History of the department

The Department of Physics is the oldest of the departments of SamDAQI and was founded in 1966 along with the Institute. One of its founders and first director, Associate Professor Rakhimov A.A. (1966-1967). In the following years, Associate Professor Shodiev N.J. (1967 - 1968), Associate Professor Suyarov N.YU. (1968 - 1976 y.y.), Associate Professor Abdullaev G.A. (1976 - 1985, 1991 - 1994), Associate Professor Usarov O.T. (1985 - 1991 y.y.) Associate Professor Nurmatov E.M. (1994 - 1996), Professor Akilov J.O. (1996 - 1998), Associate Professor Kholdorov N.X. (1999 - 2010 y.y.) Associate Professor Nurmatov E.M. (2010 - 2011) On the basis of the decision of the Academic Council of SamDAQI in September 2011 the departments of "Higher Mathematics" and "Physics and Electrical Engineering" were merged and the Department of "Physics and Mathematics" was established. He was appointed acting head of the department by Professor A.S. Savurbaev was appointed. He soon moved the department from the main building to the fourth floor of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and equipped the department at his own expense, and the physics from the main building:

Laboratory of Mechanical Mechanics of Mechanics - 2 pcs
Laboratory of Electricity and Magnetism - 2 units
Laboratory of Optical and Atomic Physics - 2
    Laboratory of Electrical Engineering and Power Supply in Construction - dot to manage the training process in 2 laboratories. N. Kholdorov was appointed. He headed the department until 2018, when the Department of Natural Sciences was established. (July-October 2011) On the basis of competition in the Scientific Council of SamDAQI Associate Professor E.Umarov. (November 2011 to April 2012) Associate Professor O.Osarov (April-December 2012) Associate Professor K.Mamasoliev (December 2012 to October 2018). In accordance with the decision of the Academic Council of SamDAQI, the department of "Natural Sciences" was separated from the department of "Higher Mathematics and Physics" and renamed the department of "Natural Sciences" with the addition of chemistry teachers to the Department of Physics. Since October 2018, the department is headed by Associate Professor N. Kholdorov.

     During the activities of the department, 25 teachers defended their PhDs, doctoral dissertations, received the titles of professor and associate professor. Among them N.Shodiev pedagogical sciences doc. Professor, O.Tukhliboev, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences those who come as professors are Ph.D. associate professors.

     The staff of the department has completed state scientific and technical projects, published fifteen textbooks, four textbooks and dozens of articles.

Chair prof. - The following teachers worked in high positions at the institute:

  • prof. v.b. dot. GA Abdullaev - Dean of the evening and correspondence faculties, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of SamDAQI.
  • Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Norkulov - Chairman of SamDAQI, then Vice-Rector for Finance and Economics.
  • prof. v.b. dot. UT Usarov - Dean of the Faculty of Management and Vocational Education.
  • Senior Lecturer OA Avezova - chair of the Women's Committee of the Institute and Faculty of Economics for many years.
  •  physics - mathematics f.d. prof. O. Tokhliboyev - Dean of the evening and correspondence faculties.
  • According to the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan prof. v.b. dot. GA Abdullayev was awarded the Order of Labor Glory.
  • 8 members of the department were awarded the badge of Excellence in Higher Education (U.Usarov, G.Abdullaev, I.Turdibekov, I.Kleiner, E.Nurmatov, N.Suyarov, E .Norov, T.Maxkamov).
  • According to the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, members of the department N.Kholdorov, O.Usarov, I.Turdibekov, E.Nurmatov were awarded the badge of independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
  • dot. A.Abdukadirov was awarded the badge of Excellence in Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
  •       Currently, the Department of Natural Sciences has 13 teachers and 5 teaching assistants in 11.5 state units.

The teaching staff is as follows:

  • 1 candidate of physical and mathematical sciences, etc. professor;
  • 6 candidates of physical and mathematical sciences, associate professor;
  • 1 candidate of chemical sciences, senior lecturer;
  • 1 senior teacher;
  • 6 assistants are teachers.
