History of the department "Management in construction"
The department began its activities in 1969 as part of the economic Faculty of SamSACEI named after M. Ulugbek. The original name of the department is “Organization and Planning of Construction”. The first head of the department was associate professor Gilyov Boris Mikhailovich. Over the years, the department was headed by associate professor Komarov T.N., prof. Dzhabriev A.N., associate professor Danilyan V.B., associate professor Muhammadiev U.A., associate professor Suyunov A.S., associate professor Bektemirov A.B. and others. Today the department is headed by Buriyev H.T.
From the day of its foundation, the department was considered to be a specialized graduating department, it was preparing graduates in the specialty “Economics and organization of construction”. Currently, hundreds of graduates of the department successfully work in all sectors of the economy.
The department changed its name several times, that is, “Economics and construction organization”, “Organization and management of construction”, “Management and marketing in construction”. From 2011-2012 academic year, the department was given the current name "Management in construction".
The department "Management in construction" occupies one of the leading places in the institute. The department has 18 teachers, including 1 doctor of economic sciences, professor, 7 candidates of science associate professors, 4 teachers, 4 assistants and 2 assistant trainees.
