HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT
Department "Construction Economics" was created in 1969. The first head of the department was prof. S.I. Bettman. He had a great work experience. Until December 1979 prof. S.I. Bettman led this department. Starting from January 1980 to August 2012 Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor. K.B.Ganiev headed the department. He is the founder of the department: "Economy and construction planning", "Organization and construction industry," "The economy and real estate expertise."
At the time of its foundation, the department was formed mainly invited from qualified production personnel from universities and other republics. The first professors and teachers of the department were Ph.D., doc. S.H. Khusainova, Ph.D, doc. I.A. Narzikulov, A.A. Kaneeva, G.I. Podsevatkina, H.A. Abdukadyrova and others. 
In 1971, graduates of the department added the institute towards MHSSE Uzbekistan K.S. Krasnova, M.G.Ganieva. In 1971 - 1980 years of S.I. Bethmann, H.A. Abdukadyrova, K.S. Krasnova, M.G. Ganieva, G.M. Mintz, K.B.Ganiev, R.S. Lee and others defended their dissertations. 
Since the opening of the Institute (1966 - 1998 years) department has released 1721 students majoring in "Economics and Organization of Construction" and "Economics and management of production." To date, graduates of the department conduct activities in different regions of Uzbekistan and the CIS countries. From 1998 until today the department prepares bachelors in 5340200- "Management (by industry)." 
In 2006 - 2007 and 2007 - 2008 school year Department released master's degree 5A3240200 - "Management". 
At the initiative of "Economics and Organization of Construction" by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education was a new direction of education 5340900 - "Expertise and management of the real estate". In this regard 2013 the Department was renamed and called "Expertise and management of the real estate". First Bachelor graduates in this field of education took place in 2013.
In 2017, there was a reception for the first students in the specialty of graduate education 5A340901- “Property valuation and management”.

Research activities of the department: 
Research topic: "Property Valuation" (2016 - 2020 years). 
As a result of research works have been published three manuals, one encyclopedia and more than 40 scientific articles in international and national journals. 

Protection of theses: 
1.Rakhimov Z.O. - Ph.D. in Economics from December 2012. 
2.Berdikulov A.B. - PhD in Economics from December 2011. 

Obtained patents: 
Enterprise Performance Management, created a computer program // State Patent Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, evidence №DGU 01670 - 2010 г.
