History of the department

The department was founded on the basis of the department "Higher Mathematics" in August 1978 under the leadership of Associate Professor Yorbekov Y.Yo. (1978-1984) under the name "Applied Mathematics and QABS". In 1984-1989, the department was headed by Associate Professor Sarimsakov U.S. , 1989-2004 Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Kholmatov T.H. In 2005-2016, the department was headed by Associate Professor Nazarov U.A. directed Since 2016, the department is headed by a senior teacher A.A Karimov. Today, the department has 14 teachers, including 3 candidates of sciences, associate professors, 4 senior teachers and 7 assistants.
